Untethered iOS 7 jailbreak coming for iPhone, iPad, and iPod devices

After Three months Apple rolled iOS 7 out to the public, an untethered jailbreak tool that's compatible with the new operating system has been made available.

It’s been a long wait for those that like to tweak their phones; previous jailbreaks only took a few weeks to appear, not months. A crowd funding site designed to help motivate groups to jailbreak the OS even appeared, with a $10,232 bonus at time of writing.

iPhone hacking group evasi0n released that it has completed an untethered jailbreak for iOS 7 which is now available for installation now on any iOS device that’s capable of running iOS 7.0 through 7.0.4.

The process is surprisingly simple, taking only five minutes to complete and works on both Mac or PC.

Jailbreak is legal or not, Yes is legal, at least in the US, a rule was passed in July 2010 by the US government made it legal so whatever you are doing with your iPhone is completely legal.

When jailbreaking your device as it could become unstable and you do so at your own risk. Many of the jailbreak hacks that are available won’t be compatible with newer devices running the A7 chip such as the iPhone 5s, due to the 64-bit processor.
