Central Bank of India’s Official Website Hacked by Pakistan Hackers

On 26th November, the Central Bank of India’s official website (centralbankofindia.co.in) has been defaced by hackers of the Pakistan Cyber Army and Team MaDLeeTs groups.

The attack comes after Indian hacktivists targeted several Pakistani websites to commemorate the 2008 Mumbai attacks that took place on November 26.

The Pakistani hackers wrote below message on the compromised page posted at centralbankofindia.co.in/site/.

“This attempt is in response to the Pakistani websites hacked by ‘Indian Cyber Army’. We told you before too. We are sleeping but NOT dead!”

“Stop crying over 26/11, go and pray for those who died instead of defacing sites. Stop complaining about Pakistani websites security, secure you own first. That’s what intelligent people do,”

The cyber conflict between Indian and Pakistani hacktivists is unlikely to stop any time soon. There are several groups on both sides that continue to hack the other country’s websites in an effort to show their superiority.

Central Bank of India quickly took down the page posted by the hackers. However, a mirror of the defacement is available on zone-hack.com.
